Board and Directorship Services
I offer comprehensive, professional support for board members and meetings. These services include coaching and mentoring of individuals and teams, chairing of meetings on a short-term or long-term basis and assistance with the preparation of associated reports and presentations. In addition, where appropriate, I am willing to undertake a limited number of Non-Executive Directorship roles.

I am a member of the Non-Executive Directors Network and have worked with over 40 diverse businesses, ranging from start-ups to the world’s largest brewing company. I have a proven ability to draw alongside existing board members, bringing insight and clarity. This has helped turn around underperforming operations, secured £multimillion investments to unlock growth and developed strategic plans to drive profitability.
My financial and governance skills and qualifications, including membership of ICAEW and CGI (formerly Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries), support investor and shareholder confidence and help ensure that the board meets all its statutory and regulatory obligations.

With more than 25 years experience as a Chartered Accountant and business leader, I can analyse, review and advise on all aspects of your company's financial performance. Presenting and explaining results in a user-friendly way gives you the confidence to make the right decisions, enabling increased profitability and growth. Establishing sound financial processes, policies and procedures provides a robust platform as the business develops. I can also support the design and implementation of KPIs, triple bottom line/CSR reporting, balanced scorecards, employee incentive schemes and employee share option schemes.
I specialise in developing business plans which reflect the leadership, their goals, and the strategic drivers of their business. By doing so, I help to secure the most appropriate forms of investment to support future growth and aspirations. I have been involved with businesses at all stages of their journey from start-up funding to M&A and can help with financial modelling, pitch decks and preparations for investor presentations. For larger projects, including trade sales and acquisitions, I have experience of setting up and maintaining data rooms and supporting due diligence requirements.

Business Coaching and Mentoring
I offer bespoke personal mentoring, or group coaching and workshop sessions, focussing on the priorities of your business. Whether you are looking to develop your own leadership skills, planning for the future, tackling some thorny challenges or wanting some ideas on how to get the best out of your team, I can help both you and your staff to ensure your business thrives.
I combine traditional coaching, for example, GROW, with the tools from quality improvement approaches, such as Total Quality Management, LEAN and Six Sigma, and my own personal experience of elite management, to provide solutions to specific situations. In addition, I will train you and your team to use the relevant tools so that they can be applied independently in the future, ensuring that any changes are sustainable and developing a culture of continuous improvement in your organisation.
